This month(s) both of the designs that I've been working on are part of the My Forever Home collection - a collection of knitting patterns that will be released in early November and are inspired by my home state: Montana!
Cozy Winters Cowl
The Cozy Winters Cowl is a simple, faded texture cowl design using Polkadot Sheep Stumptown DK (in Night King). I've designed the texture such that it is denser at the bottom and fades as you work your way to the top of the pattern -- representing piling snow, or the different stages of snowfall (from whiteouts and blizzards to flurries and snowflakes). This design includes four circumference size options and four length options.
Where the Buffalo Roam Shawl
The Where the Buffalo Roam Shawl is a large, cozy triangular shawl design using Explorer Knits + Fibers Rockies DK (in Tawny and Aspens in Fall). The shawl is a 2-color shawl primarily composed of a cabled wheat motif and accented with tassels at the corners of the shawl. This design is inspired by the plains of Montana ~ where the buffalo roam!
I'm so excited about these new designs and think that they are absolutely perfect for the Montana collection! Are you as excited as me for the collection release (in early November)?!
