May Mittens: Featured Finished Objects

As I'm working on a fingerless mittens pattern design this week, it only seems appropriate to revisit the two mitten patterns that I designed last year! These are two of my very first patterns that I released, so it is fun for me to revisit all of the projects on Ravelry!

This super bulky mitten pattern is the first knitting pattern I released, just over a year ago! This mitten pattern is a simplistic mitten design that uses ribbing, knitting in the round, basic colorwork, and increases and decreases. It is a great project for a knitter learning how to knit in the round and how to work multiple colors in a project. This pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry and LoveCrafts.

Here are a few example projects! (Click the photo to view the project page!)

This mitten pattern is just like the With Love, From the North Mittens pattern, except using bulky yarn and only one color. Instead of using a second color for the heart in the mittens, this pattern using purl stitches. This is also a great project for a beginner knitter wanting to learn how to knit in the round! The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry and LoveCrafts.

I hope you found this little feature section inspiring! Please let me know in the comments if you look forward to some more featured projects! Interested in a chance to have your project featured? Share your photos on Instagram (using the design's hashtag) and link your Ravelry project page to my pattern! Don't forget: I am currently updating all of my patterns! If you’ve purchased a pattern, you will automatically receive the new, tech edited version with charts when the updates are released — hopefully by the end of summer!

Happy Knitting!
