The yarn that I used for the pattern samples is Lily Sugar 'n Cream in Red, Dazzle Blue, and White. This is a 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. I think it would be fun to play with different shades of pinks/reds/oranges, blues/grays, and whites/creams/grays to create unique flags, each with a different personality!
