Why is it that the shortest month of the year is the month that's the month all about love? I'm feeling shorted here! (In case you haven't caught on, I'm all about hugs and spreading love… 💕)
Anyways… I'm not actually one to go all out for Valentine's Day, but I do love hearts (any time of the year), so I, naturally, have designed multiple patterns that are quite fitting for the holiday of love.
Which leads me to February's Featured Patterns: Love Yourself Shawl and Lovely Heart Dishcloth. Plus, I'm going to offer a discount on all of my heart-themed knitting patterns, which also includes the With Love From the North and Hidden Love Mittens!! 🎉 So that's four Valentine's Day themed knitting patterns: a lacy heart shawl, lacy heart dishcloth, colorwork heart mittens, and textured heart mittens.
The best part? You can knit – and use – these any time of the year! Especially if you knit them in non-Valentine's colors! (Be sure to check out the alternate yarn suggestion blogs - linked below each photo - if you're looking for yarn inspiration.)
If you've never worked from a Snickerdoodle Knits knitting pattern before, all Snickerdoodle Knits patterns include clear, step-by-step written and charted instructions plus linked technique video tutorials to walk you through the pattern with confidence and joy.

I totally understand that too! Most of the time I prefer some sort of texture that’s nothing in particular, but occasionally I like being “cutesy” 😆
Alas I am not a heart shaped anything person. I do love texture and 'not meant to be anything specific' patterns but tend to avoid the obvious when I can.
